Much of what I wanted to say is already covered by this wonderful
survey form. Hats off to VU2SDN and Sandeep, VU2MUE.

I support setting up Voluntary Examiners like what the FCC does in the
US. This will solve a lot of issues regarding licensing.

IMHO, CW should be retained in the exam as I learn that operating CW forms the best part of this wonderful hobby.

Spectrum in the microwave range should be allowed so that data-over-amateur-radio bands can be experimented with. Also digital modes like PSK31 should be legalized.

It's high time Govt of India wake up to the realities of Technology, else Indians will be left behind. If we need good scientists for tomorrow, here is an opportunity.

Comments = Equipment should be allowed to imported easily without much
hassels of customs and octroi, because this is non profit making hobby.Please try reduce the timegap after passing the exam and getting the licence
