My First

    My first DX QSO

¡@ I worked my first QSO at 10th May 1998 UTC 0507. I worked with JA6RGD Mitsuru Arima. He was standby at the hilltop for 506m high in Kagoshima Japan. I used my FT-736 10W and 6m dipole antenna. My signal report is 53. Thanks for OM JA6RGD , VR2BA and VR2IL for teaching my first QSO.

¡@    My first QSL card received

¡@ I received my first QSL card which was sent by JA3GR Hiroshi Nakamura. I worked him at 2nd June 1998 UTC 0124. His location is in Kobe Japan. I also used my FT-736 10W and 6m dipole antenna. My signal report is 56. Thanks for OM JA3GR for the big QSO.

¡@My first transceiver

¡@ My first transceiver is Standard C150 2m FM handheld. I used it for my home channel contact. Although it was not the best rig but it made me to feel the most contented in amateur radio.

¡@My first antenna

¡@ My first antenna is handmade 2m ground plane. Because of my experience was so little before, I made many mistake on it. I just use some metal wire to make the radiator and reflector. After that I soldered it together with a RG-58 coaxial cable. I used it with my C150 for the first local contact but I made a big mistake. I put it up side down.
