Stanley Dragon Boat Racing 

Special Amateur Radio Station 

On June 25, 2001, our association (VR2HAM) will, for the very first time, set up an special amateur radio station for the Stanley Dragon Boat Racing event. By the use of HF radio transmission, we will make direct contacts with local and overseas licensed amateur radio stations. The station will transmit real time pictures of the racing event by Slow Scan TV technology. Plain voice radio contacts will also be available. Special contact confirmation card (QSL card) will also be sent out to stations contacted or Short Wave Listeners with valid reception report. 

Stanley Dragon Boat Racing event is the largest dragon boat racing event in Hong Kong. It is the most spectacular event having the largest number of participating teams. Please visit:
