RT-505B/PRC-25 all solid state backpack transceiver, Frequency range from 30-76 MHz, 50 KHz spacing. Radio has two bands, low 30 to 52.95 MHz and high 53 to 75.95 MHz. Power output 1.1 watt to 2 watt, with squelch tone 150 Hz.

RT-505B/PRC-25 has modified A25 audio Module.

The radio is transistorized except 2DF4 tube in final amplifier. PRC25 was widely used in the1960s and was replaced by PRC-77 in the end of 1960.
