VO1TCR Repeater
At the top of the picture is the VHF end of VO1TCR,
at Marconi DK-66 repeater.
Under that is a JS-1 Repeater Controller in a rack-mountable
enclosure. Then is the
UHF end of the repeater, two GE Phoenix S UHF transceivers.
One is used as an RX
and the other as TX. Below that is a homebrew 13.8VDC,
15A power supply unit which
powers the two UHF radios and the controller.
Then is the UHF duplexers, and the VHF
duplexers. Both are Sinclair Res-Loc
Q series. The site is located on a hill between
Carbonear and Victoria and
has coverage as far away as St. John's. The site has commercial
power mains,
but we have also outfitted it with a battery backup system, just in case,
HI.
