Catamaran Leaves Brisbane

The Bach & Byte left Brisbane this morning participating in

the annual Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race.

Earlier this week the team met at Alan's, VK4BKM, and packed some of 

the equipment into the trailer that will be taken up to Gladstone where 

the radio team will meet up with the Bach & Byte on Monday afternoon.

The crew plan to set sail Tuesday April 17 for the Reef.

Luckily, tropical cyclone Sose is weakening as it heads towards New Zealand.

The effects of this cyclone have even been felt during the week on the Gold Coast

& Sunshine Coast with the huge tides & swells literally eating away at the beaches.
