News Bulletin #12 - 22/4/01
15M Thrash today
10M was given a good run yesterday, so today the boys will concentrate
on 15M, in particular looking for South America, Africa and Europe.
Harris was working 20M CW earlier today.
There has been NO 40M operation at all, so any contacts on this band
have been with pirates.
There are lots of insects and bugs on the reef and the noise from bird life is
incredible, to the point where the operators cannot use VOX, as the birds will
trip the VOX into transmit !
