News Bulletin #11 - 21/4/01

Logs Now On-line

The VK9ML logs are now on-line as of 2030 UTC.

Please note that some of the first QSOs on 50MHz were logged by hand and

do not appear on the on-line log facility.  Unfortunately CT does not allow the 

addition of a QSO after the event.  These QSOs will be added to the master log 

file when the log data is transferred to DX4Win on the teams return home.  

The 6M operator wanted to be QRV ASAP to work as many stations as possible.

The picture above was captured on a digital camera and sent via the

satellite phone this evening along with log data.  Note the Honda generator

just outside of the main entrance.  This thing is real quiet and runs on the

smell of an oily rag!  In the background you can see the "Bach & Byte", the

43' catamaran that provided transport out to Mellish Reef.
