This is the current time and temperature in Katherine.

I am active on all HF bands 10-80 metres, mostly on SSB and also some CW, and  PSK31 mode.  

I am the Manager of the VK8 QSL Bureau and look forward to processing your cards.

My present QTH is Tennant Creek which is about 500 kilometres north of Alice Springs.  Tennant Creek is the latest Australian Gold Mining town and has the biggest beach in the whole world ... nearly 2000 kilometres of sand in all directions!  At present I am using a Cushcraft R7 Vertical Antenna and I am in the process of assembling and erecting a 5 el Triband Antenna on a 10 metre mast.  I am also  investigating 6 metre operation.
