NOTE 1: 50-52 MHz Operating conditions

This portion of the band is allocated on a primary basis to the Broadcasting
Service and on a secondary basis to the Amateur Service. The SMA permits
amateur stations to operate within this band under the following conditions:
  (a) No interference is caused to the reception of Channel 0 TV Transmissions
  (b) In New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, ACT and Tasmania, operation is
      resticted to:
      (i) The sub-band 50.000-50.300 MHz
(ii) Locations outside of the following minimum radial distances from:
Television Channel 0 main stations: 120Km
Television Channel 0 translator stations: 60Km
Television translator stations with Channel 0 inputs: 60km
(iii) Emission mode 200HA1A with a maximum power of 100 Watts pY
(iv) Emission mode 4K00J3E with a maximum power of 100 Eatts pX

NOTE 2: Beacon Operation
Beacons on 50MHz are located in either the CW segment or in the specified
beacon segments between 50.275-50.325MHz. VK1/2/3/4/7 have preference in the
50.275-50.300 MHz segment.

Beacons on 52MHz follow the state frequency allocation plan - eg VK2 has
52.420-52.429, VK5 has 52.450-52.459 etc. Beacon channel spacing is 2KHz.

NOTE 3: International DX Segment 50.000-50.200 MHz
This segment of the band has priority for International DX. Please
respect the call channel of 50.110 and do not use it for domestic contacts.
