These are SSTV Images I have received from about 1997.
More about SSTV here
on the digital communications page.
The equipment
used at the time was:
Kenwood TS-430S, 80m dipole sort-of facing North/South at about 50'
and the computer was a Pentium 233 MMX with 64 Megs of RAM and 6.4 Gig
HDD.
Images that are not dated were received with that equipment.
Any images that are dated from December 1999 - May 2000 were received
with:
An Icom IC-706MKII, 10/11m half-wave Sniper verticle at about 15' and
an AMD K6-2 400 with 128 Megs of SDRAM and a 20 Gig HDD
After this date, the radio could be a Kenwood TS-440S or the Icom IC-706MKII.
The antenna could be either the dipole at 40' or the verticle also at
40'.
