| ORIENTATION: Runs approx. East-west - i.e. radiates "best" to north and south From experience, this antenna also gets in well to Europe (north west), and reasonably well into North America (north east), on 15 and 20 metres. On 80 metres, works very well into all Australian states (ie east, west, north & south!) CONSTRUCTION: Centre support: metal pole 7 metres long. End supports: Large pine tree (about 11 metres AGL) and gum tree (about 8 metres AGL).
HEIGHT of base above sea level: 250 metres. Best on 80, 40, 20, 15, and 12m. |
