STRAWBERRY FAIR and National Field Day October 23.	At the Eden Hills Primary School. Wilpena St, Eden Hills AHARS will be there, presenting Amateur Radio to all at the fair. It's the National Field Day, and we'll be in contact with stations around the state and the country. Any young person who makes a contact from our station wins a prize, and we get good points for the contest. Please visit our booth, or *make contact* with our station (VK5BAR) at the fair.
VK100WIA Tuesday October 26 to Thursday October 28	VK5BAR on the WIA Centenary Trail. We'll be operating from members' homes, and portable from Blackwood Oval, Cumming St, Blackwood. Club members are welcome to support this event in the following ways: 1. Applying to have their name on the roster for home ops. Tuesday October 26 and Thursday October 28. Two hour stints. 2. Applying to have their name on the roster for our field operation at Blackwood Oval on October 27, and assisting or visiting on the day. 3. Calling VK100WIA (on HF and/or VHF/UHF) from home.
