Admiralty 2 Watt audio amplifier
Built by Redifon in the UK. Used by the RAN for low power audio reproduction. I use this amplifier with admiralty speakers and audio patch board ex HMAS Aware to reproduce audio from various radios.
There is an interesting story to this piece. When I acquired it it was missing the cover for the terminal strip for audio and mains (at bottom of picture). The kind of thing I thought I would never ever find. Several months later whilst collecting some equipment from the radio room of HMAS Aware there was a cover plate there all on its lonesome. You guessed it, it was the cover plate for the amplifier!
