Compared to the stones the toolkit lid makes a much better work surface!

In the toolkit container are the necessary nuts and bolts, compass, tools & velcro tie straps.Plenty of spares were brought along as well. Fuses as well as nuts & bolts.

The telescopic mast is tie-strapped to the fence so the guy lines can be pre-tensioned before the yagi is mounted.
This is a tilt-base but is not used as such in this application. It does help to keep the dirt out of the bottom of the tubing.

More importantly, the lock bolts can be tightened to prevent the yagi from turning in the wind.

The elements, T-match balun & coax were attached to the boom in the vacant block next door.

Here the yagi (already bolted to a 1.5m pole extension) is lifted onto the telescopic mast.

I wasn't expecting so many small palm trees nearby and it was awkward to maneuver the yagi into position without damaging the elements.
