VK4CP/p Operation from "The Town of 1770"
March 27 - March 31, 2003 Grid Locator: QG55wu
Located 390km north of Brisbane the Town of 1770 offers a ideal QTH for working out over the Pacific, and in the Long Path direction towards South America.
The name "1770" although somewhat unimaginative was named in honor of explorer Captain James Cook when he made his first landing on what is now known as Queensland.
