Welcome to the BARC News sheet for June 2012
Meeting
The meeting nights for June are 8th Annual General meeting 22nd Business meeting
Location will be 21Rochedale Road Rochedale,
This is normally our social meeting but our AGM will be held this night so we look forward to seeing you all there. The second meeting will be our normal business meeting on Friday 22nd June at the rochedale Address
Repeater
At present the repeater has been switched off awaiting installation at Rochedale. We hope that the coverage is better from the new location.
Nets
The Monday night nets have been going well with most being vertically polarised. Until further notice the wednesday night net will be on 146.550 MHz.
Barcfest
The event went well and the weather was kind to us which made for a very pleasnt day. The talks were well attended and will be included in future Barcfests. although the number attending was down on prevoius years the table holders were happy with the sales made. The profit made overall was over two thousand dollars. I would like to thank those members who contributed to make the event a success both socially and financially .
