HP-608E VHF Signal Generator
This HP-608E VHF Signal Generator was saved from the scrap heap earlier this year (2001). As you can see the covers came off and some work was required to get things back to spec. The 608E employs both vacuum tubes and silicon transistors in its design (hybrid construction). It covers from 10 MHz to 480 MHz in five ranges, with its calibrated attenuator and reasonable stability (after warm up), the 608 still proves to be quite a useful instrument. Works well as a bridge source for tweaking antenna systems as the output is more than +7dBm.
