My name is Steve Merrifield, and I am an electronic engineer in Melbourne, Australia. My main interest in amateur radio is designing and building low power RF equipment. I am 26 years old, and have been licensed for more than ten years. At the moment, my work involves programming in VHDL to implement spread-spectrum circuitry using Xilinx FPGAs and Altera ASICs.
