Introduction
EGARC is a small club covering East Gippsland from Maffra in the west to Mallacoota in the East and in general the area south of the Great Dividing Range. We oversee a repeater network with VK3REB 146.900 mhz at Mt Nowa Nowa east of Bairnsdale, VK3REG 146.650 mhz at Mt Cann north of Orbost and VK3REM 147.150 MHZ at Maramingo Hill north of Mallacoota. These 2 metre repeaters are linked using UHF link equipment. VK3RTU 439.525 mhz at Mt Taylor north west of Bairnsdale is a Stand alone repeater with Echolink available.
Meetings
Club Meetings are mostly held at the Bairnsdale RSL club ( on the corner of Princes Highway and Forge Creek Road opposite the Bairnsdale Hospital ) every 4th Sunday of the month usually in the "Rivers Room" with the first meeting for a New year in January and the last meeting for the year in November.
The AGM is held each July.
The next Meeting will be held on Sunday 26th February at the Bairnsdale RSL commencing at 1-30 pm. Lunch will be avaliable from 12 noon. Visitors welcome.
