ECHOLINK SECURITY

This screen shot below shows how access is ONLY ALLOWED to RF links, both Repeaters & Simplex, within Australia and countries with which Australia has 3rd Party Agreements.

It also shows how one or many calls can be DENIED ACCESS.

One could change the options to only allow a number of selected repeaters within these countries be given access.

The ACCESS and DENY options are available to all who run an EchoLink RF Link and can be configured in many different ways.

One might want to have an EchoLink RF Link for 6 meters only with other 6 meter operators around Australia and maybe (optionally) include New Zealand and possibly others in the world.

One might also want to give access to a few selected amateurs using their PC who may not have 6 meter equipment or who cannot access an EchoLink RF link from their QTH.

ONLY THOSE WHO YOU ALLOW ACCESS -- CAN GET ACCESS AND TRANSMIT ON YOUR RF LINK.

No scripts to write; no programming knowledge required.

YOU CAN ALSO CONTROL WHO HAS LOCAL RF ACCESS TO YOUR LINK.
