Welcome to the online home of Amateur Radio Station VK2AFL. For information on Amateur Radio or Ham Radio click here.

My name is Andrew Lark and I was first licenced in 1999, with the unrestricted callsign VK2AFL.  I was born in 1975, and I am still finding my way around this enjoyable hobby. I enjoy HF operating, and I find CW (morse code) a rewarding challenge.

I'm a member of Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club, ARRL, Wireless Institute of Australia, Australian Conservation Foundation and the Australian Geographic Society. (See links)

My shack features a solar power system supplying 12V DC to the radio equipment and lighting.   Visit about to view more information on my solar power system. My LIVE webcam runs 24 hours a day, check it out - it's nearly as boring as watching paint dry. :-)

Although these pages are somewhat incomplete, enjoy your stay. Please use the links to the left to move to different sections of my web pages. Please feel free to email me via VK2AFL{at}lark.id.au .
