Field Day Activities

VE7QBV and the joy of soldering...

Field Day is an amazingly fun activity each year, where we go out into a remote location and set up radio stations.

We have lots of fun building various forms of antennas and hanging them from trees or putting them on top of towers.

We then try and make as many contacts with other stations around the world during a 24 hour period.

We track all the contact information, which later gets sent into the ARRL.

In addition to building antennas and making contacts there is great fun, fellowship and food to die for.
