Amateur Radio - Vancouver & VictoriaJim Cliffe - VE7MHJI've been licenced as a ham operator since 1987. My first call sign was VE7HAR, chosen because it was easy to send in morse. I later discovered that it was the same as Kim Philby's initials. Which raised a few eyebrows when I renewed my security clearance.... My current call sign is VE7MHJ.
Late in 2004, my wife and I moved from Vancouver to Victoria, the capital of BC. Over the next few months, I'll be adding information on amateur radio services for Victoria and lower Vancouver Island. My latest project is building a TinyTrak III for APRS work. Where's VE7MHJ? For more information about me, please see my personal website. Books just wanna' be FREE! See what I mean at Bookcrossing.
