Homebrew 2

Here is another fine example of a homebrewed transmitter. This one, at least I know who built it, but I am still looking for more information on the fellow who built it. Here is what I know so far.

His name was Norm W7CMO. Sadly he is a silent key who passed away a short time after heart surgery probably in early 1998. He was a ham long before WWII and built the AMP with the idea of modulating it for AM. He was a top 300 DX operator. He was a communications supervisor for City Light in Tacoma, WA. If you knew Norm, or have more information about him or this transmitter, please send me an email.

This is such a nice rig. I am planning on building a modulator and power supply for this and get it on the air for the fall of 2002. The amp uses a pair of 4-125s and I will build the modulator with a pair of 4-125s as well. I have most of the PS components but still need a mod transformer. If you have oneto sell/trade, please email me.
