His Majesty King Hussein I of Jordan met with every amateur radio operator in attendance at a reception held in his honour at the Palliser Hotel in Calgary, Alberta on October 16, 1989.
The reception was organized by the Amateur Radio League of Alberta.
In this photo, I, Bob Burley, VE6ARJ, met a most remarkable leader in person. King Hussein left me with an extraordinary impression of his warmth and friendship.
