Here is Conrad relaxing in the shack and reflecting on the pile-up from ealier in the day.

I learned today that we have lost another one of our C.IS.A. activators, and chasers yesterday. Conrad had been valiantly battling his illness for about 5 months, and to the very last had tried to stay active. Even after he was so weak that he could not go out anymore, he was still striving to honor any requests for qsl cards. That pretty much summed up what Conrad was like... a gentleman who always had a nice word for you when you spoke to him on the air, and who even when he was getting weak, was concerned that everyone would get the qsl cards that they deserved. His French accent will sadly be missed by all his friends. Thank you for being there for us Conrad!
