Training session held and was attended by 7 stations. Chief Jim Sawkins of the Tiny Township fire department was the guest speaker for the evening and he did a presentations on HAZMAT. The presentation was very informative and all who attended learned a great deal. After a tour of the Tiny Township EOC and Lafontaine fire hall was conducted. SGB/WS ARES registered stations participated in the annual Terry Fox run held in Midland on September 15. 8 stations were in attendance. We assisted in reuniting 1 lost child with her family, and proved to be invaluable in passing traffic for the OPP when their systems failed. NTS Liaison Station - Ken - VA3KEW, 0 traffic to / from ARES group to the OSN and the OPN. Local traffic = 2 messages. OBS - VA3KNR - Doug, read 15 Bulletins. ARES data updated on local club website and ARES website
