Comments: 
Emergency Planning Committee for the Municipality of Wasaga Beach invited a member of the SGBWS ARES to sit at their regular meetings to keep abreast of their needs and how ARES can be of assistance.  Requested a demonstraion of ARES capabilities during their Table Top exercise in early Spring 2002.

Completed training for ARES Response, NTS traffic, EOC - NCS operation training on Dec 03/01.  Seven Stations qualified for role as EOC Station Manager/Supervisor.

Township of Tay published current update to their Peacetime Emergency Plan, including the appointment of the local EC as a member of the Support Group, and the SGBWS ARES as providers of specific communications support.

NTS Liason Station - Ken - VA3KEW, 1 traffic to / from ARES group to the OSN and the OPN.  Formal net report traffic commenced during this month. Local traffic = 3

Digital Communications continue to develop in area.  Local Packet Digi - PENMID - provided by Darren - VE3REK, as well as a Packet BBS - VE3REK-1, on local frequency 144.970 / node frequency remains on 145.070.

More area stations now operating on APRS for ARES work.  APRS linking is improving in Central Ontario and between Quebec, Michigan and New York State.

SGBWS Emergency Manual completed.  Delivery being done during the month of December.
