FD2002 - Mast Raise Connection

The halyard cable was attached to our PVC mast several feet below the dipole. This ensured that the dipole cleared the weather equipment and VHF antenna at the top of the sailboat's mast both when in place and when being raised and lowered.

There are two other items to notice in this picture. The first is the RG213 antenna feed cable for the dipole. The second is the base assembly for the mast attached to the base of the sailboat's mast. This anchored the antenna mast to prevent twisting in the wind and protected the finish of Jack's sailboat.
