We have had a tough year and a half since we moved house and have not been able to get the business back together in that time. By tough, I mean both time-wise and financially - the stock market crash in 2000 hit us hard and I've been extremely busy at "real" work. We're doing okay again now, thanks for asking, okay, but not great....you know how it is. However, we still have Red Hot Radio kit stock (the raw materials) and intend to get it all kitted up together sometime this year - maybe we'll even have some new kits later in the year! To all those who have sent in orders that have not been fulfilled, please be assured that we have not cashed a single one of your checks. Pretty much all the checks we have with the orders are now expired of course - we will be returning them all to their owners prior to opening up for business again and offering those people first dibs on the kits, since they have been extraordinarily patient with us. If anyone would like their expired check back sooner, please ask and we'll make it happen. There was one gentleman who sent us cash for a kit - he has been contacted and decided to let his money ride along in the hope that he will eventually get a kit - his will be one of the first to ship when we get to it. Another thing is that it appears that the name "Red Hot Radio" was trademarked some time before we started in the business. We may have to give the name up - we'll see. Just in case, we have secured a new name, the web domain to go with it and have applied for the trademark too (it takes months to hear from the trademark office). Should we need to, we will change over to the new name. What's the new name? Can't tell ya, sorry! Anyone have any guesses (should be fun!)? 72 to all, and thanks for your patience, Dave Fifield, AD6A ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Nielsen" Subject: Re: 20 Meter Rig? > I recommend the Red Hot Radio NC20, but don't know if Dave Fifield is > still in business.
