See if that resolves it, there was a similar problem with ME but M$oft brought out a fix as I recall for that one. I want to use the COM port RTS (or the DTR) line to key the PTT on my K2 (#3014) transceiver. My problem is that the RTS (and the DTR) lines lock "ON" soon after Windows is finished booting.
