This modification requires changing R6, R7, R8 and possibly C7 and C8. They only effect the filter in the AF2 position. There are four new bandwidths that range from an ultra narrow bandwidth to one that has half the ringing time. You pick whichever best suits your style of operating. A note describing these changes is on my web page at http://home.pacbell.net/johngreb/KI6WX.html . - -John KI6WX +++++++++++++++++++++ Date: Thu, 15 Nov 2001 19:36:44 -0800 From: "John Grebenkemper, KI6WX" Subject: Re: [Elecraft] Modifying the KAF2 Filter Response Ken; My typing mistake; R6 is 180K. I have double checked all of the other values and they are as run in my simulation program. - -John > G'morning, John: > Thanks for this effort. > Question, though.... my KAF2 has a 180K resistor at R6, not 100K. Is that a > typo in the table for "As Designed"? ++++++++++++++++++++++
