I have been working with Laurent, F6DEX for the past couple months on a complete control program for the K2. His program TRX manager now has a dedicated K2 screen. Combining this screen with other features of the program such as band scope, scanning, qick memories, voice recording plus many other features really makes this an awesome tool...fun too! To make things a little easier, we made seperate buttons for functions that required HOLD instead of TAP. You can even access all the menu funtions for editing. You can go to his website and download a demo version at http://www.trx-manager.com/ I am sure there may be others out there who may ask for something added and Laurent always keeps things open for improvements. He sure was patient with all my "wish" items. Have fun and 73 Greg AB7R ++++++++++++++++++++++ From: "George, W5YR" To: "Tom" , Subject: Re: [Elecraft] KI02 Interface software Date: Tue, 21 Jan 2003 08:24:57 -0600 I use TRX Manager for my Icom 756PRO and PRO2 and for my K2 - identified to the program as a TS-570 (similar command set). I could also use it on my IC-765 but haven't so far . . . I know of no other program that works as well with as many features, etc. Well worth the $69 fee to me. It also has an excellent multi-memory keyer function. -- snip -- 73/72, George Amateur Radio W5YR - the Yellow Rose of Texas In the 57th year and it just keeps getting better!
