Upon hookup to the computer and activating Logic6, it seems that any movement of the VFO causes a momentary blanking of the reception. This holds true until I power off and then power back on. Of course the program has then lost contact with the radio. Upon reestablishment of the connection, this strange behavior reappears. If I discontinue Logic, the behavior still persists until I cycle the power. Curious ... Any ideas about this ? I'm thinking in terms of computer interference or feedback of some kind. I'll keep looking into this. This worked for me, with 4800 baud and two stop bits, per the KPA100 manual. -----Original Message----- From: PDA [mailto:dennis at hosenose.com] Sent: Monday, December 30, 2002 3:58 PM To: Brian Machesney Subject: Re: Logic 5.1 interface to Elecraft K2 Set LOGic to use the Kenwood 850 driver. Set LOGic to match the baud rate of the rig. The data bits is fixed at 8, the handshaking at None, and cannot be changed. Try 1 and 2 stop bits. Sometimes one will work when the other will not. ++++++++++++++++
