In the Preferences, PTT Port, you need to select the option to use WD5NGR driver / Logger. I presume that you can use the Logger program too. The WD5NGR driver is available in several versions. You need the Kenwood one, which you can get from http://www.clarc.org/~wd5ngr/kptt.zip. After unzipping and installing it, you tell Stream to use the program kptt.exe, and that's it. After doing some detective work, I discovered that this driver works by sending messages with a message number 0xD7A5 to the main window. An lparam value of 1 causes it to send the TX command to the radio, an lparam of 0 sends RX. It would be nice if K2 Remote could respond to this protocol, so it could be used to control the K2 while running Stream. I don't think the WD5NGR driver was written specifically for Stream, so I presume that other programs would also be able to benefit from this. - -- Julian, G4ILO.
