This was another section of the POLAR BEAR DXPEDITION 98 . On August 17th, when the teams arrived in Moosonee Ontario, on Ontario Northland Railway's "POLAR BEAR EXPRESS", Bob - VE3LLE and Lyle - VA3DXE proceeded to Moose Factory Island to set up CH3HBC at the MOOSE FACTORY MUSEUM . Weather conditions delayed the station set up but by late Tuesday August the 18th, Bob and Lyle had the station up and operating. They operated until August the 21st, making over 400 contacts, until they had to dismantle the station in time to catch the ferry to Moosonee.

Bob and Lyle were finally able to set up the station in the main building of the museum. The setup was rustic in keeping with the museum's atmosphere. Photo taken by George Burns - VE3INB
