1998 CQWW SSB Contest @ WP2Z

For the 1998 CQWW SSB Contest, I travelled to the beautiful island of St. Croix. My wife Debbie and I spent 10 days on St. Croix, beginning 2 weeks before the contest started. This was our first trip to the Caribbean, and my first ever DXpedition. Debbie went back to Ottawa (after an unexpected overnight in Philadelphia by herself) the Monday before the contest. At the same time she was leaving, Bill W4WX, Clarence W4CHK (now W9AAZ), and William N2WB flew in from Florida. Later that night, we picked up Ernie W5OXA. The following day, after many delays, Jim AA9TK (now N9TK) arrived. Thanks to N2WB for supplying the pictures. We stayed at beautiful Windwood Estates.
