Beauty and the Beast?

Dave Wilson (VE3BBN) holds a florescent tube near the final tank circuit of his spark transmitter. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do it justice. Below, Dave sits at his station in St. David's, Ontario, near Niagara Falls. The line up, from left to right, is: sparker, WS#19 Mk III, home brew transmitter and home brew receiver (very nice).
Well done, Dave! Take a week extra leave!!
