Phase I development The Project ARIEL is to develop a two point radio packet link between Alantic Business College Fredericton, New Brunswick and The Maritime Forestry Complex, Maryland Hill, Fredericton.

Phase II of Project ARIEL is to develop a three element radio packet link between The Maritime Forestry Complex, and communications towers of The New Brunswick Electric Power Corporation located respectively at Crabbe Mountain, 45 kilometers northeast of Fredericton, N.B. and Jordan Mountain, 80 kilometers southeast of Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Other links (nodes) may be added to the network at a later date from sites in Moncton, New Brunswick and Saint John, New Brunswick.
