Both Donat and Mélina arrived in the district of Albertville,Saskatchewan in 1911. Donat arrived with his grandparents, uncles andaunts, the Beauchesnes. He, his sister Maria and young brother Emile hadbeen orphans since 1907. His brother Emile and sister Maria were placedin St. Patrick`s Orphanage in Prince Albert.
