Starting with the strong pioneering spirit of Calixte and MariaPerreault, four generations grew in the Henribourg district. Calixtearrived in 1910 and took a homestead which the present hamlet ofHenribourg is situated on. Mr. Hebert built him a two Storey log house onthe south eastern part of his quarter. Calixte came back in 1911 withhis wife and four children . When they arrived the house was notfinished and instead of the dry favorable weather as Calixte had seen in1910, it was very wet and the roads were muddy. It was a good thing hehad a pair of oxen and two horses and wagon to bring his belonging toHenribourg from Prince Albert. They first lived with Henri Morin in thehill east of Henribourg (Henribourg was named after Henri Morin who alsodonated land and lumber on which the Roman Catholic Church was built)
