Home of the Ottawa Valley QRP Society (VA3OVQ)

The Ottawa Valley QRP society is a group of Amateur (Ham) Radio operators in the Canadian National Capital Region with an interest in low-power operation, equipment homebrewing and portable antenna experimentation. The group holds the Canadian Amateur Radio Callsign VA3OVQ.

Our organization is very informal, with no executive, no club dues and no official business meetings. Paricipation is open to anyone in the Ottawa Valley with an interest in QRP. We have monthly get-togethers over dinner and members frequently bring in their latest projects or new toys for show-and tell.

Our monthly dinner meetings are:

The second Thursday of each month at 5:00pm,
at Donna's Express Restaurant (Corner of Churchill and Scott streets).
