TEST MACHINES

In case you may be wondering I have tested these programs on the following machines:

1 - Windows 98 P1-200MHz with 64 MB RAM (Desktop)
2 - Windows 98 P1-200MHz with 48 MB RAM (Desktop)
3 - Windows 98 486DX4-100 with 16 MB RAM (IBM Thinkpad)

The slower the machine/less RAM, naturally the slower the importing, updating and search functions are.

RELEASE VERSION and FIXES

Ver 1.0.5 Win 95/98 - released 
Fixed code so that if you choose not to backup the database before you import a newer database, it will not prompt you at the end of the import if you would like to delete the backup file like it does now.

Also found when I updated it with a newer IC database and there were name changes for a call, it would prompt you if you wanted to update the information even if you had no additional information in your database - fixed code so that you are only prompted if there is additional information. Calls with name changes and no additional info are saved to notadded.mdb as long with any calls that you selected not to update. Report given at end of update as to number of calls with name changes that were not updated.  '.mdb' files can be looked at
using Microsoft Access or other database programs that recogonize 
Access(.mdb) files. The downside is that the updating of the database now runs slower as it checks every additional info field in each call to see if there data that needs updating.

Import/Update Screen - Fixed progress bars so that they appear after you select update, and both import and update progress bars appear only if you have a prior master database.

Database - Changed the type of fields for email, Chat numbers, comments and Club Affiliations so that you now can have more than 256 characters

During update of new database, It will check calls and if names are different it will ask if you want to update additional info whether there is additional info or not.
