This is the home page of amateur radio station VA3ETS.

QTH here is Brantford Ontario Canada, which is west of Toronto by about 100 kilometres. You can find me on the air controling the Trans provincial net on Sundays at 2:00PM EDT, or 1800 UTC.

Also, another great Canadian net that you can check out, is the sandbox net, which can be found on the bands at 7.0635 LSB. If you aren't a licenced ham, but you have a shortwave receiver that has single side band on it, you can always listen in.

you can also check out the sandbox net's home on the world wide web by clicking here!

Other amateurs pages

Here are some sites of other hams that you can check out.

Click on the links below to get to them.

VA3WLC Wes's page My buddy Adam VA3AUM's site The website of the CNIB amateur radio program. Paul Brown's site And the site of the Brantford Amateur radio club(BARC), can be found here

A great piece of software that has been out there for sometime, which I think is totally cool, is a program called EchoLink, on which licenced amateurs can connect to repeaters, symplex links, or just individual users via their own PC's!

Note: in order to download this software, you have to have a valid amateur radio licence!

If you are a ham that doesn't have this program yet, and would like to get it, you can click here to get it!

A notice about some amateur radio equipment which is for sale

I'd like to put up a notice on this web page that Mich Verrier VE3oSV, from Elk Lake Ontario, has a Kenwood TS570d hf rig with power supply for sale. This also includes a 35 foot tower, a G5RV antenna, and a 40 metre dipole. He's asking $2500.00 for everything.

Ways to contact him

Mich can be contacted at 705-678-2480, or via email at [email protected] He'd prefer you contact him on the landline though at this time. His postal address is: 374 third st. Elk Lake, Ontario, P0j1G0. Thank you, and 73's!
