Frequency counter, Sierra FC2
The device works up to 70MHz or higher (95M), with 0.1Hz resolution. The sampling rate and resolution is on demand. FC2 is of low power consumption and works from 5V to 15V power sources. The signal input has selectable attenuator. The crystal reference uses TCXO (temperature compensated crystal oscillator) for lower temperature drift. The temperature compensation employs internal silicon thermometer. The LCD display is available in light green, with green or white backlight. Custom crystal frequencies are available.

  • The Sierra CF2 counter is available as a kit. OEM.
  • We do "custom IF frequency" for radio frequency readout.

    • All devices are calibrated to 0.2ppm uncertainty with 0.01ppm ovenized crystal frequency standard.

    This is a handheld device with 1nH/0.05pF resolution.

    The vna is used for single, or two port s-paramenter measurement.

    Omni-directional 5.8GHz antenna (Sonora A58p)
    The A58p is a very low manufacturing cost antenna, designed for Wi-Fi computer networks and antenna feed applications.
  • The antenna covers US, European, and all the 5G Japanese bands in single shot.
  • The bandwidth is extremely wide.
  • Covers (4.9 to 5.85) GHz ISM band, and more.
  • The reflection s11 is better than -21dB.
  • The gain is above dipole.
  • The antenna has linear polarization.
  • The radiation pattern is double X. The horizontal plane is omnidirectional.

    What is lead free?
    The manufacturers spent big bucks to shorten product life expectancy, and take a credit for that. That's the environmental propaganda. The lead-free solder becomes brittle in harsh environment, crystallizes, and decomposes. We design for 35,000 feet altitude, Canadian winter, and Mojave desert conditions. Our products are lead-free, or with the genuine leaded solder.
