Low Band DXing - V4!

St. Kitts - Nevis get active!

st kitts nevis low band dx contactGreetings

Thanks to Al for the web space.

I am Keeth, licenced since January 1968, an active and founding member of the St. Kitts-Nevis Amateur Radio Society from April 12th 1973.

One of my 2001 projects is to get more of the 40 + Ham Operators resident on the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis, actively operating on Low Bands, 40, 80 and 160 meters, again. Suggestions? Email.

Congratulations to V44KJ and the Ham Operators on Nevis who formed their own Nevis Amateur Radio Society.

Follow this link to my Caribbean amateur radio project web site [under development] and email list, helping to foster greater cooperation and development among regional Ham Operators, Clubs, Societies, Associations, etc. Suggestions? Email.

Follow this link to an Ham Radio page at my ISP.

June 1 to November 30 is the Atlantic Hurricane Season, usually peaking in mid September for V4, St. Kitts and Nevis. Follow this link for existing tropical storm and hurricane positions, drill down into links under North Atlantic Storm Advisories, for tracking map, discussion, satellite map, strike probabilities, public and marine advisory, etc.

In V4, we take storms and hurricanes very seriously. Here is another look at the tropical cyclone position, follow links under Atlantic in the left panel, for latest information.

Email feedback.

Have a nice Ham Radio day, 73
