What's new in 6.71 1. Split up the enabling of the telnet server and telnet client. Previously, enabling 'telnet' enabled both the server and client. Now either can be enabled independantly. 2. Automatic password issuing by the telnet server: i) If an unknown call attempts to log in, he will be asked whether he wants to register or not. If he answers yes, he will be asked for name and email address, after which a password will be sent to him. ii) If a registered call attempts to log in but can't remember his password, he will be prompted to enter "#". The password will then be sent to his email address that he registered with. iii) This feature can be turned off if desired. 3. An Options window! Check it out. 4. A drop-down window in the Connecting To dialog box will store the most recent 20 calls made. At the moment this (20) is a fixed value. Let me know if you think this is too many, too few or perhaps you want to be able to change this number. 5. Some bugs fixed: i) The re: re: re: bug fixed (for message replies). ii) The Mail beacon works again. iii) An HTTP request for a message with only one line (i.e. a single line with "/ex") now no longer crashes the program. 6. More catching up done with the Help file. Not finished yet though.
