Egyptian Experiences!
1.
Visiting a hairdresser or barber in Egypt can be quite an experience! Not only do they do a great job at cutting your hair to the style and length you require but they also remove extraneous hairs from your ears by an ingenius method.
Holding a length of twisted twine between his fingers and the centre between his teeth the barber skilfully removes hair from your ears by quickly pulling back and forth causing the twine to twist and snatch. Very effective but also painful!
I have the smoothest and shiniest ears in the Sinai!
2.
You are walking on the Giza Plateau in the shadow of the awe inspiring Pyramids when you are offered a free camel ride and accept. After your ride and being seven feet off the ground on the camels back you find you have to pay the camel driver 40 Egyptian pounds to get off!
The warm waters of the Red Sea touch the beaches of Naama Bay and Sharm El Sheikh. Beautiful fish, great diving!
