Charlottesville My station:  Yaesu FT-920 barefoot.  Antenna - trap dipole about 25' high.

Operating times (local):

Saturday (anticipated): 1000-noon; 1430-1700; 1900 to 2200
Sunday (anticipated):  0900-noon; 1430-1730

Expect to be on 7220 kHz, unless it's incredibly busy.  As the xcvr is VFO, obviously I'm not "wedded" to that frequency.

P. S.:  At my age - 86 last July - an after-lunch nap is mandatory!  Generally an hour or less.

Williamsburg Here is an old pic of me operating on the York River at Yorktown, VA.

I plan to operate between 7.230.00 - 7.260.00. I am really looking forward to this contest as it is my favorite. Little bit about me: I have a hard time working the knobs on the radio because my hands don't work anymore. We still try to get on the radio and talk. Talking sometimes is a problem as I have Traque. Somebody said learn CW. This is great but my hands can't use a key. I still have so much fun with what I have. I ignore my short comings. I have only been a Ham for 11 years, but I have accomplished so much with in the Ham community. So I feel I am not handicapped.

Thanks for letting me be a part of this contest.

Take care and God bless

WR4RC
Russell WR4RC is the club call of the Russell County Amateur Radio Club, Inc. The club was formed in March 1999.

We promote amateur radio to the public in the form of our annual Field Day celebrations, providing communications support for community events, and providing emergency communication for county agencies. Perhaps our most fulfilling role however, is providing regular ARRL VEC License Test Sessions and providing new amateurs with experienced advice and support to further the activity known as ham radio.

It is the intention of RCARC (WR4RC) to be operational on 40 meters SSB and 20 meter PSK31, from 11:00am Local (14:00 UTC) Till 5:00PM Local (22:00 UTC) both days of the event  We will be using facilities provided by Southwest Virginia Community College for day one and our Club Facilities for day two. Frequencies may vary but should be around 7.240mhz circumstances permitting. We will be a multi operator multi transceiver station from RUS ( Russell county)

Louisa N4CF is pleased to offer Louisa County as a multiplier and a 100-point bonus station. I operate CW and SSB using an Elecraft KX3 feeding a KXPA100 amplifier into a Carolina Windom antenna.

40 meters gives good results in this QSO party, so I plan to spend a fair amount of time there, but I won't neglect 75/80M. Look for me on these bands during the times listed below. If you don't hear me, be patient -- I might be taking a "nature break" or grabbing a quick bite to eat. On CW, I'll be sending at 22-24 WPM, and I will QRS if you call at a slower speed.  Also see http://n4cf.mdodd.com/vaqp.html.

After the 2015 VAQP, I wrote a program to generate a call history file from VAQP logs,
I added some information about a call history file for the N1MM Logger+.  See http://n4cf.mdodd.com/vaqp.html#CallHistory.

Poquoson, Hampton, Newport News, Glouster, Mathews, and York N4TGR/E is pleased to offer the City of POQUOSON as a multiplier and a 100-point bonus station.  I operate SSB only using a Yaesu FT-857 into a Carolina Windom or 40m homemade Inverted-V antenna hung from a 50Ft Clark pneumatic tower.

I will be operating Expeditionary so there will be some breaks while I move from site to site.  I will be working from the back of my truck or a trailer depending on the weather.

I will be working 20, 40 & 75M for this QSO party depending on band performance.  I plan on Parking on a Freq and staying there for a while, so look for me.  Plan on running in the lower portion of the General portion of the bands.
Please have some courtesy - please don't tune up on the  and try to keep min 3M between frequencies.  Thanks in advance... have fun!! :)

I have a strong bladder, as long as the wife & kids feed me and leave me along, I'll run for 3-4hrs between nature breaks.

For those of you that sent QSO cards last year, I have not forgotten you!!!  I have them in a pile with all contents ($) that I received still in the envelopes; just received QSO cards so you will get one for last year and this, if we make contact!  Thanks for the cards, just getting started with QSO cards and logging.
